Spring Renewal

I try try to use the energy of the seasons to my benefit when it comes to my health. In the winter, I eat foods that are cooked longer and slower, warming and grounding. There is often a bit higher fat content and my food is prepared with the intention of creating strength and warmth. In the summer, I eat much more raw food, with lots of fresh vegetables like greens, tomatoes and herbs. The intention of my summer cooking is to create a cooling and refreshing effect. Read More
